Troop 33 participated in Central Jersey Rifle & Pistols Club's Youth Day program sponsored by the NRA.  What a great time we had! Certified NRA instructors were on hand to provide quality training. Scouts had unlimited access to al kinds of guns from 1800 hand pistols, muzzle loading shot guns to M-1 military weapons  The trap shooting and cowboy shooting was a huge hit.  We can't wait until next year to return again.

In January the Troop took a day hike in Philadelphia.  We had completed the six mile "Trail of Liberty".  It was a fun filled day that ended with a visit to the mall.  We would like to thank our guests Webelos scout Connor Biggs and Mr. John Biggs, members of Pack 6 for joining us on the hike.

In order to complete some first class requirements for Citizenship, Mr. Robert Olkowitz, Esquire, stopped in to gave a presentation on "The Bill of Rights".  The discussion became very interesting when the Scouts asked an attorney's opinion for the right to not do homework.

Troop 33 planned a Shawnee Mountain ski trip for late December. The Scouts wanting to take advantage of the ski trip to earn the snow sports merit badge. The week before the trip Mr. George Deus, snow sports merit badge counselor, stopped by the meeting and started the Scouts for the snow sports merit badge.
