Dock Captains Report 10/17/07

The following people have agreed to help protect your property to make boating at Lake Hefner better for us all. Please get to know them and keep them informed when there are problems on your docks.

If you need to communicate with a Dock Captain but can't reach anyone, you can use the dock mail boxes at any gate to leave a message. They should be equipped with pencil and paper.

If the list below indicates your gate needs a volunteer and you can help, please call or email John Robison at 524-4544 or send him an email at robisonarchitect@sbcglobal.net.

Dock Captains Responsibilities:

    Boats:
        1. Meet your dock-mates and tell them what a Dock Captain does.
        2. Keep boats safe and lines secure, and/or:
        3. Notify chairperson of problems (John Robison) and La Tresa

    Dock Mail:
        1. Check weekly if possible.
        2. Report stock needs; pencil, pads, applications to chairperson.
        3. Boater requests. Provide line help or notify chairperson.

    Blue Rooms: Check weekly if possible.
        1. Pumped out.
        2. Clean. Supposed to be wiped with disinfectant.
        3. Tissue in holder.
        4. Repairs.

Marina Maintenance: Report faulty lights, gates, water.

Membership: Meet new boaters, give out applications, take dues.
