100th Year Anniversary with the "A Century of Values" Tour
that stopped at the Council Service Center in June '09.

of Leadership
Has a Scout, leaders, or other
Scouting volunteer made a significant difference at some
time in your life, or
the lives of others, by the extraordinary service they have
given and the Scouting virtues they have modeled?

BSA 100th Anniversary National Hall of Leadership!

Camp
Resolute Anniversary Camporee - October 2 - 4, 2009
Celebrate the 90th anniversary of Camp Resolute
on Little Pond. This will be a traditional camporee style
event with many special programs added. It will take place
October 2 – 4, 2009 at Camp Resolute.

Scout
Sunday/Sabbath - February 7 or 13, 2010
We encourage all units to attend their church or
synagogue in uniform during the religious service on
February 7 or 13, 2010. Or band together and host a town
wide Scout service at the church or synagogue of your
choice. If your pack or troop is
sponsored by a religious group, perhaps you will want to
include Scouts in the religious services as ushers and color
guard or present the religious award to a member who
recently completed it.

Report
to the Community February - February 7 - 13, 2010
Provide a report to your pack or troop community’s
Selectmen or Mayor during Scout anniversary week.

Town-wide Good Turn - Month of April 2010
Service is a key component of the Boy Scouts of America.
Each unit should plan and execute a service project for
their charting organization or the town in which their unit
operates. We encourage Town units to band together to do a
community wide conservation related “Good Turn”.

Eagle
Scout Recognition Dinner - May 7, 2010
Our traditional annual Eagle Scout recognition event
with added program of finding the council’s oldest Eagle
Scout and inviting all Eagles Scouts in the council
territory to participate.
Plant-A-Tree/Arbor Day - April 30, 2010
Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops should work with
local conservation commission, land trust or tree warden to
plant a tree in town to commemorate the 100th
birthday of the Boy Scouts of America.
