Cub Resident Camp Program

Camp Kirby’s staff is well-trained, enthusiastic, and prepared to deliver an exciting program for Cub Scouts.  The theme at Camp Kirby for 2010 is “Spacequest - Out of this World!”.  The opening campfire program and all program areas have activities related to this theme.  All campers are encouraged to bring a theme costume for our campfire on Saturday night.  The schedule for this next summer's program is available here:

Your First Day

Check in, registration, medical recheck, den and camp site assignments, setup camp

 

PARENTS TO LEAVE CAMP (if not camping)

Swim test, Shooting Sports Range Safety, Campfire Skit Preparation, Camp Tour, Handicraft (follow den rotation)

Follow daily schedule (lunch)

Review the Advancement Opportunities document to understand the advancement that can be earned at summer camp.  Use the Program Activity Schedule (PDF or DOC) to plan your time while at summer camp.  Use the Unit Advancement Roster (PDF or DOC) to track the belt loops and Webelos activity badges earned by your Cub Scouts and Webelos.  And encourage each boy to use the Individual Activity Record (PDF or DOC) to track the activities they have attended while at summer camp.
