Hideo Hoshide
Honor Award
This
Thunderbird District Award is bestowed to an individual Scouter in
honor of the extensive and wide-ranging service to Scouting of Mr. Hideo Hoshide. A volunteer Scouting leader for over 50
years, Mr. Hoshide continues to serve the youth of our community and
our district as the BSA Chartered Organization Representative of the
Japanese Baptist Church.
A typical
nominee will possess similar qualities that Mr. Hoshide inspires.
These may include (but are not limited to):
• An
extensive period over a number
of years of continued service to Scouting.
•
Exceptional performance demonstrated
within a variety of service positions within a Scouting unit
and a Scouting District/Council.
• Current
service to Scouting in the
Thunderbird
District of an outstanding nature.
A typical
nominee will have probably already achieved notable local and
national recognition for past service. Such recognition is usually
