The Railroad Days Festival in Snoqualmie was a great success for
the Crew on Saturday, August 22. The crew built a float called
"Trees to Seas". It was our show piece to symbolize our efforts of
selling Christmas Trees and how it funds our programs such as our
kayaks, built by the members. The members marched with the
float while passing out candy canes. We even had an accordion
player who marched with us playing Silent Night.
While there were no awards presented for the
floats, clearly ours was the best and we were a hit with the crowd.
