Several leadership positions are necessary for a Cub Scout pack to function properly and successfully.  Without all these GREAT leaders we would have just another Cub Scout Pack.

What makes good leaders in Cub Scouting?  Training!  After a quick Fast-Start Training session (video or internet-based), each of our leaders are asked to attend Basic Leader Training. Basic Leader Training comprises two parts: New Leader Essentials for all unit-level leaders and Leader Specific training, which is based on the leader's unit-level position. To begin your training, proceed to the Chief Seattle Council Training site.

Training doesn't stop at Basic Leader Training. Each leader is asked to attend Youth Protection, Safety Awareness, Safe Swim Defense, and Safety Afloat Training.  Each of these training sessions are designed to help adult leaders to provide a safe environment for our youth to explore and learn.

As a leader progresses additional training opportunities become available including Wood Badge, Philmont Training Center, Program & Training Conference, and others.

Listed below are the leadership positions that a well-established pack would typically strive to fill.  You may click on any position to get a description of it's job duties.  And yes, all of these leader's roles can be seen displayed in a Pack organizational chart!  Our current leader's positions are noted as well as any open positions.

Want to join our team?  If you have a possible interest in filling one of these open positions, you are encouraged to contact either the Cubmaster or the Committee Chair.
