Symphonic Winds
(a large concert band made of the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony students)

Singapura Suite - Jan Van der Roost - guest conducted by student teacher, Ms. Garcia!

Ammerland - Jan de Haan
Eagle Bend Overture - James Barnes

Itinerary

Symphonic Band Pre-State Clinic Itinerary Tuesday, March 26th

What: Symphonic Band (with doublers) will go to Edmond North High School for a clinic to prepare for OSSAA State Contest.

When: Tuesday, March 26th. We will leave PC High @ 4:30 pm. Be in the band room for roll call @ 4:15 pm. The clinic is from 6:00-7:30 pm. We should arrive back at PC High around 8:00 pm.

Wear: Travel shirt and jeans.

Bring: Instrument, music, pencil, willing attitude.

Extra: You will need to eat before we leave or wait until we get home. There will not be time to eat in transit and NO food is allowed on the bus.

Congratulations Capps & Cooper Bands!

Congratulations to the Capps & Cooper Middle School Bands on their performances at OSSAA District Middle School Contest.

Cooper MS went to contest on March 5 in Mustang. They earned straight Superior Ratings on stage and in Sight Reading!

Capps MS went to contest on March 14 at Putnam City North HS. They also earned straight Superior Ratings on stage and in Sight Reading!

As a result, both bands received the OSSAA Outstanding Achievement Award. This is the second year in a row that both band have received this honor! Congratulations!
