Unit Leader Awards

Each year at the Recognition and Awards Banquet for the Mount Olympus District, an outstanding unit leader is presented with the Unit Leader of the Year Award. If you know a leader who represents the best of Scouting, and meets the following requirements, please take the time to nomininate them.

Nominations need to be submitted by the May Roundtable to give the evaluating committee time to review all submissions.

2009 Cubmaster of the Year
2009 Scoutmaster of the Year
2009 Varsity Coach of the Year
2009 Venture Advisor of the Year
 
Cub requirements Scout requirements Varsity requirements Venture requirements
  1. Be a currently registered Scouter.
  2. Complete two years as a registered Cubmaster.
  3. Participate in at least one Cub Scout leader pow-wow.
  4. Hold regular den leader meetings to develop the pack meetings.
  5. Wear a proper uniform to all Cub Scout and district activities.
  6. Complete Cub Scout Basic Leader Training.
  7. Promote training for adults in the Pack.
  1. Be a currently registered Scouter.
  2. Complete two years as a registered Scoutmaster.
  3. Hold regular meetings.
  4. Wear a proper uniform to all Scout and district activities.
  5. Complete Basic Leader Training.
  6. Promote training for adults in the Troop.
  1. Be a currently registered Scouter.
  2. Complete two years as a registered Varsity Coach.
  3. Hold regular meetings.
  4. Wear a proper uniform to all Scout and district activities.
  5. Complete Basic Leader Training.
  6. Promote training for adults in the Team.
  1. Be a currently registered Scouter.
  2. Complete two years as a registered Crew Advisor.
  3. Hold regular meetings.
  4. Wear a proper uniform to all Scout and district activities.
  5. Complete Basic Leader Training.
  6. Promote training for adults in the Crew.
