Description:
Troop 419 is a special needs troop, with an emphasis on enabling each scout to have the fullest scouting experience he's capable of. Our scouts go on hikes, ski, snowboard, bike, camp (winter and summer), and take part in comunity service projects. They earn merit badges, and advance to higher ranks (we now have one Eagle Scout and another about to attain Eagle rank).

We have about 20-25 boys aged 11 and up, and are always happy to have new scouts join us. Our parents are very involved in the troop activities, and take part in the camps, hikes, and other activities. Our scoutmaster has been with the troop since its founding, and has been a strong supporter of scouting for those with special needs.

We invite you to contact us, or to come for a visit to our meetings. We meet twice a month, on the first and third Tuesdays, at 7 p.m. in the New Horizon School.
