6 easy steps to complete the 2007 GRD annual Food & Flag Drive
(Part of the Boy Scouts Good Turn for America)

 Step #1: Sign up for an area(s)

At Rush #1 at the February Green River District Roundtable
At Rush #2 at the March Green River District Roundtable
See Current Area-Unit Assignments
View or Download your area(s) map.

Step #2: Pick up your door hangers
At Rush #1 or Rush #2 (door hangers are provided by the Council)
May also be picked up at the Scout Office or Food Drive Chair

Step #3: Label your door hangers
Write in you info (date of pick up, time of pick up, contact)
Or produce computer labels with the same above information and apply

Step #4: Distribute your door hangers
Distribute your door hangers to at houses in your assigned area(s)
Preferably on March 10th

Step #5: Pick up donations and deliver them to local food banks
Pick up donations at houses in your assigned area(s) on March 17
Count and log how many units (ex: 1 can = 1 unit) your unit picks up
    download: Unit Food Items Tally Sheet
Count and log how many volunteers and hours your unit provided
    download: Unit Participation Honor Roll (form)
Drop off your collected donations to the following:
 

Kent Food Bank(map)
    515 W. Harrison St, Kent 10am until 2:30pm

Renton Food Bank(map)
    206 S. Tobin St, Renton 9am until 3pm

Drop off any collected US Flags at the next GRD Roundtable

Step #6: Log your volunteer time and numbers on the Chief Seattle Web site
        Council Good Turn Report Form
