The World Wide Web is a fantastic source for information on Merit Badges.  Here are a select list of a few great ones!

MeritBadge.com - Merit Badge Resources!
Mr. Michael Kauffman has produced the definitive site for any scout seeking to do Merit Badge research on the Internet. Each badge is explored requirement by requirement with appropriate links to other places on the web with great resources.

Mr. D's Merit Badge Review
This is a spreadsheet listing Mr. Richard Diesslin's recommendations on each of the current 119 merit badges, listing the number of requirements, difficulty, how long it should take to complete, any prerequisites, and general comments. The spreadsheet is also available as an Excel file (43 KB) for download.

Current Edition Dates for MB Pamphlets
This USSSP site has a table that shows the latest EDITION date for each of the Merit Badge Pamphlets as listed on the inside back cover of the current Boy Scout REQUIREMENTS book (#33215B). This data is constantly being reviewed & updated by the USSSP.

Merit Badge Blue Cards -Helpful Resource
This site offers a simple yet complete explanation of the use of this BSA Advancement Form. "As the District Training Chairman, this is part of the training I have given Scoutmasters and Committee members on dealing with Merit Badge Blue Cards."

Merit Badge helpful links
On this site scouts can find links to other sites that can give specific help on some Merit Badges. The list is not near as extensive as MeritBadge.com (See above).

Merit Badges Resources on the Internet
Troop 24 maintains this great index of Merit Badge resources on the World Wide Web. The set of Merit Badges is broken down alphabetically in this directory.

Requirements for each Merit Badge
Merit Badge Requirements are available for each Merit Badge from the USSSP website. This site takes care to point out any recent changes in badge requirements as well as the correct edition of the book a scout should be using.
