The Undaunted
Piet Kroonenberg
ISBN: 2-88052-003-7 (available overseas only at this time)
This book is about Scouts in Eastern and Central Europe who kept the Scouting spirit alive, despite oppression and persecution for over 40 years. The values that Scouting stood for were unacceptable to totalitarian and communist regimes. The author was active in Scouts during World War II in the Netherlands at a time when it was illegal and everything had to be “underground”. Piet is the Historical Consultant to the European Scout Committee.
